100% Chardonnay. Classic barrel fermented in French and Hungarian Oak. Rootstock is Clone 04/Clone 96/Clone 37 combination. This is a dry well balanced Chardonnay made for food pairings. Fresh acidity supports a wonderful scent and flavor of Fuji apple with a hint of pastry. Lemon and pineapple dominate the palate with a spice note of roasted and salted Macadamia nuts. This is a great food companion. It will stand up to almost anything rich in texture. Pasta Alfredo, Indian Curries, Grilled Pork Chops and Ribs. What works for all these cuisines is a wine that has great acid to refresh the palate.
